OVERVIEW

Loopify: Order Management System revamps the gifting sector for B2B and B2C markets, focusing on premium gift hampers. As a part of the ZEUX team, I helped streamline the bulk order management and delivery processes into an easy-to-use portal. This platform simplifies order placement and tracking, benefiting clients and Loopify's team. Digitizing operations boosts efficiency, ensures timely deliveries, and boosts revenue potential.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

The manual management of bulk orders and deliveries for premium gift hampers in B2B and B2C markets results in operational inefficiencies, leading to delayed deliveries, decreased customer satisfaction, and potential revenue loss.

OBJECTIVE

  • Develop a user-friendly digital platform to streamline bulk order management and delivery processes.

  • Simplify order placement and tracking to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Improve communication between clients and Loopify's internal teams.

  • Ensure timely deliveries and boost revenue potential through enhanced system capabilities.

USER RESEARCH

Our approach was to conduct a thorough study of the existing system using the following methodologies:

  • Stakeholder visioning

  • User interviews

  • Field research

My research encompassed understanding the following nuances:

  • What do we need the OMS for?

  • Who would the system be catering to?

  • What is the current ecosystem of the target audience?

  • What are the most burning issues needed to be addressed on priority for Phase 1?

  • What would be the success metrics for this system?

INTERVIEWS, TARGET AUDIENCE AND THEIR ECOSYSTEM

We engaged with individuals across all departments at Loopify to gather insights and understand their pain points. We then refined the scope and focused the system design on the key roles involved in the bulk order management process:
Head HR view- for data entry, management & tracking orders
Loopify Management view- for data entry, management & tracking orders
Gift Recipient view- data entry & tracking order

DEFINE & IDEATE

We identified the critical issues and pain points, distilling our insights into logical conclusions. This process enabled me to develop a streamlined workflow for a digitised Order Management System.

CONCEPTUALISE, DESIGN & PROTOTYPING

I started creating the information architecture and low-fi concepts for primary use cases. After having a go-ahead from the Product Manager, developers, and Stakeholders on the mockups, we began to conduct usability tests with the low-fidelity mockups. Once we had confidence in the design, we began digitalising designs.
Creating wireframes for the Loopify Order Management System involved translating research insights into conceptual designs. Through collaborative ideation and iterative refinement, we developed low-fidelity prototypes that clarified system structure and navigation. These wireframes provided a visual blueprint, ensuring alignment with user needs and enhancing efficiency in managing bulk orders for B2B clients.

Reporting Dashboards provide an unparalleled view of engagement & performance of members across all groups. It enables admins to get qualitative insights and make well-informed decisions.
Following the brand language, we set the visual style and UI of the platform to a gentle shades of green and integrated other indicative colours, ‘easy to the eyes’ layout to avoid over burdening due to heavy data, while also following an intuitive information architecture.

THE OUTCOME

The final prototypes of the Loopify Order Management System incorporate user feedback to enhance usability and operational efficiency. Key improvements include
Intuitive order placement
Real-time tracking
Improved communication tools.
These advancements address past challenges and position Loopify as a leader in the premium gift hamper market, setting the stage for a successful system implementation across B2B sectors.
The platform is currently under development and is to be launched soon.

PROJECT LEARNINGS
